EuRoPhyzQuiz in Cluj - Napoca, Romania, continues a Physiology competition that had its beginning in 2018. We welcome medical schools from all across EuRope for the 2026 Physiology gathering.

Just as Physiology is a Trans-membrane phenomenon, EuRoPhyzQuiz hopes to be a cross-border activity among universities in EuRope.

We look forward to EuRoPhyzQuiz being an exciting homeostatic continental event with fruitful students-teachers academic and social exchanges.

EuRoPhyz Quiz is a tribute to Physiology, a universal scientific language, that explores how living organisms function, revealing the intricate mechanisms that sustain life and health.

​

I invite you to join us at this unique event, where students and professors can redefine the understanding of vital biological phenomena and create bridges between medical schools

​

We have the honor to have professor Hwee Ming Cheng with us, as Quiz Master. Professor Cheng is a distinguished Physiologist, recognised in the entire world as a specialist in innovative approach to Physiology teaching and learning techniques. In Malaysia, this type of contest was organized for the first time in 2003, with 7 participant teams from Malaysian Universities. The last edition of the Inter-Medical School Physiology Quiz took place in 2025 and brought together students from 15 countries, organized in 70 university teams. Romania is the first country from Europe that organized this competition in 2018, 2019 and 2023. Now we invite teams for all over the Europe to join us in this exciting adventure.

Last but not least, Cluj Napoca is a vibrant city with a tradition in medical education, the ideal setting for a stimulating competition, for exchanging ideas with the best students in the medical field and for making new friends from all over the continent.
